Pics:Z-tube & Blitz LM filter, Polarg M-20 amber

hey all, i've got a few pics of my first "mods." starting out simple, with a Z-tube and Blitz LM filter. don't notice much of a difference, but i wasn't expecting much either. car is still too new to go about 4k (only got about 300 miles on it!) so i'll have to wait for the real sound.

i've also seen some pics about the bulbs in the clear strip. hawaii has pretty strict blue light laws, and quite frankly, i'm somewhat tired of trying to match the little 168/194 lights w/HID's, it jus' doesn't really happen well. so i decided to go with the polarg m-20 amber bulbs and i think they look great! what do you think?

well, more to come i hope! here's the link CLICK HERE!

The Z tube will make a slight improvement above 4000 RPM. Easy and cheap mod that's worth the $.

Cool I have the clear corners thing going but I do like your amber set-up... you should post a shot or two of the whole car with the ambers on... Everything else is looking good!

I dont think that you need to wait for filters to "reach their sound"....upon installation of my popcharger.....the G roared like a beast! maybe blitz is not so good for sound?

well, the blitz lm filter is a drop in filter that replaces the stock one. there is no cone or velocity stack. you could hear the slight growl before 4k rpm, so i know it will be louder than stock, jus' not too loud.

the color is actually not too far off from the signal lights. it looks way better than stock, and gives an alternative to the "blue" color.
