should i just get an ebay intake?

should i get an ebay intake? becuase..for me..all i want is the sound of the intake..i dont care much of the performancce (not that intake adds much anyways)..so i was wondering...ebay intake for 80bucks shipped..or name brand for 200+shipped.. just for the sound..

what do you guys think? anyone ever had an ebay intake? thanks

If all you care about is sound then by all means get em. Short ram intake usually decreases HP because of the warm air. But they make up for that by increasing air flow.

IMO, dont! Anyone who looks under your hood who knows cars will think its cheap and you drive a G35, not a honda civic....do it RIGHT! If all you wanted was sound, stick with a ricer. If you want performance, dont go cheap on your G.

But intakes on our cars only ARE for sound

Dude. . .you own a G35. . .don't be so cheap. Get a z-tube and pop charger from our sponsors here or check the classifieds.

Don't get a no-name ebay filter if you care about your engine, who knows if it even filters?!?

please please dont put some ebay cone filter onto your MAF! Will just make noise, probably loose power too!
