No the dumb y-pipes designs that plague our cars are to blame. I have a greddy evo with a new custom x-pipe instead of y-pipe and all my rasp is gone. I had rasp once i installed test pipes and new it was the y-pipe. Had a custom x-pipe made and that took care of the problem and brought back a lot of torque
