Resonated or Non?

Either way, I'd say its rasp. What exhaust do you have?

Will if you have just stock header's & exhaust with the test pipes. It's probably just the stock res. without the cats are makin it rasp.

No I took the heatshield off and rev'd it while in the air checking for leaks or anything loose and nothing. it's like a rattling noise at around 2k - 3k coming from inside my Y Pipe...

Will with just the test pipes and my hks Ti exhaust it was a little rasy but when the borla header's went on i have a weird noise on right around the area your talkin about. I think your y-pipe vibrates when your around that rpm cause there's no resonator AkA cats to stop the noise.

That's what a VQ with test pipes will sound like. It's the nature of the beast and it's firing order. Unforuntately, nothing is loose.

Thats what I was thinking of doing... cause the noise doesnt come from the resonator, it comes from the Y pipe :-/ I hate this noise! i might just take off the test pipes and call it a day.....

Haha you have rasp! I had rasps sooo much, went through 2 diferent cats/test pipes, went through 3 exhausts, I had so much rasp between 2k + they called me Rasp Master 2000 I settled now with a Fast Intentions full cat-back exhaust and Kinetix High Flow Cats, no rasp!
