CAI or short ram intake...??

I know theres alot of CAI or short ram intake threads.. sorry guys..
I just want to know which one is the best to get.
I know that there arn't much HP gains from an intake.
I'm looking for the best sound intake, but I don't want to lose HP(I've had read that CAI losses HP for VQ engines- is this true?).
What would you guys recommend?
I have an 05 g35x sedan..

thanks!

my opinion

With any of them you will gain nothing more than 2-4hp at best so in my opinion you have two choices.

1 - if money is no object get the one that looks the best for your set up
2 - if money is a factor then get the z-tube and k&n drop in

A 1-2 hp is f all so dont make this decision based on what is going to give you more power bc you will never feel the difference...

I've got a fujita and it sounds sick.. I'm sure I lost some power because of the hot air, but more airflow makes up for that loss so I'm even.. Car feels faster because of the sound though.

Do yourself a favor and stick with a drop in filter + Z-Tube or Stillen airbox + Z Tube.

.

Save yourself some time and money. I have gone the long route and ended up where I originally started. I say go with the Z tube and a good drop-in filter. I went back to the Z tube/Amsoil drop=in combo.

Most G35 sites carry the JWT popcharger, yes it is the intake filter w/ heatshield only and yes there are companys that make polished metal Z-tubes
