Pop Charger whistles and that's all....!
All these posts claiming RWHP gains with any intake is just wishful thinking! Manufactures make similar claims to sell their intakes but in the real world it just doesn't show up on the dyno....where it counts! You can actually lose HP when you use the metal piping z-tube/pop charger due to heat soak. They're nice to look at but to what cost.... I've considered going to those really cool looking intakes but with NA we need to fight for every HP available so I'll stick with my Stillen CAI-Z Tube!

As Gary said ^^^ the gain is not really noticeable. I'm also using JWT w/ ztube, but still wondering everytime my engine bay get hot then my ztube also get hot. I even throw spacer to "relief" some of hot airflow goes to my engine.. THE ONLY Thing I can say noticeable is the roar sound when you floor it...

Correct me if I'm wrong but I thought that most of the gains were from the Z Tube portion of the Z Tube/Pop Charger combo. I thought that the gains from the PC were minimal (like maybe 1-2 hp) and mostly for that oh so lovely whistle.

An intake is an intake... they're all the same. But once you get rid of the heat shield and the air duct, you're getting heat soak... unless you have a CAI, in which case, you're usually trading low end for high end power. The biggest difference and the only one that'll really matter most is the filter element, and they're all technically the same too.
