Injen Short Ram Intake problem Please help

So the other day, my cousin handed me a free Injen intake used as R&D from his 350z since he was using a Injen CAI intake on his. Now after installing the Injen Intake he has given me onto my G35 Sedan I noticed one problem, the hose that connected to the stock intake tubing did not have a connection onto the Injen Intake, idk whether or not to drill the intake and stick a fitting on there to connect the hose or put a breather on the hose. Any suggestion? As of right now I just ran it open as seen in the pictures. http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y17...g?t=1212041328

that hose is your pcv (Positive Crankcase Ventilation) that intake ram should have a metal thingy where you connect the hose on to

thats the thing there is no small tube on the bottom of the intake, the Intake he gave me was a R&D intake by Injen, his Z was used for R&D so I was thinking since its the Positive Crankcase Ventallation can I just stick a breather?

I installed it myself, I was looking for a little tube, but nothing so I laughed and just installed it anyways leaving the pcv hose open

I guess, hahaha cosmetic wise it looks nice, and sounds nice now what if I drilled a hole on the bottom of the intake and stick a fitting maybe that might just solve the problem

thats what I was thinking, putting a breather filter on the end of the hose with a small pipe clapping in between holding the filter and hose together
