it came with a small turbo built in it =X they just won't tell u lol

some of the intakes to whistle, alot of people Love them cause it makes themfeel like they gotta BOV. lol

 

it does whistle when accelerate around 3k -4k rpm after that the whistling sound is gone...

 

my bone stock whistles around 3500-4000 at mid throttle

 

my fujita short ram also whistles, at first I thought, oh crap, I installed it wrong, but in the back of my mind I didn't want to touch it cuz I liked the whistle. If you think about it, a bunch of air going through a small cone hole is going to whistle. My question is why does it stop whistling instead of whistling louder at higher rpm's or full throttle?

On the other hand,
My bro's 07 civic si has an injen CAI and i never hear it whistle, it sounds mean as hell for a cvic.

 

My wife's 06 Mini Cooper S (which we JUST sold this past Monday so we could buy our new GF G35x1!!) whistled too. I loved it...combined with the supercharger whine the whole intake system was loud. So looking forward to some more noise out of my G.

The Mini had a 17% supercharger pulley, air intake system, and intercooler diverter/sprayer. It happened at varying engine loads, engine rpm's, and throttle position. I could tap the pedal very quick and short to make the pfffft sound also. Shopping for a CAI tonight for the G35x.
