As for the dent, make sure you are persistent and get a new piece.
i like the look of the tips... when they are not messed up like that.
and having the exhaust yourself you know the whole world will see that dent at the angle this thing sits

That dent is BS. Hopefully they hook you up with a new unit. Good luck with it.

"haha noooooooo not ebay. i wanted to save money but i not putting sight unseen ebay parts on a car like this."

WTF? xo2 is just another name for "made overseas in China". Sorry to say champ that your exhaust is FAR FAR FAR inferior to any exhaust out on the market. It's a clone and don't let the shiny cheap grade stainless or non-stainless steel welds robotic welds fool you. It's a cheap part and like any cheap part you buy, will come back to haunt you later.

My suggestion? Sell the part, save money and buy an HKS unit, be happier in the future and get an exhaust system that actually has some engineering work behind it, not a cheap Chinese-made replica.

It is a known fact that an exhaust doesnt make an crayz power on an NA VQ engine. However, I think the HKS is over priced, you need to show how this exhaust is crap...exhausts are fairly simple its bottlenecks and size, and muffler setup that changes the output. exhaust is pretty simple...quality is a factor though

just a follow up people. they sent out a new tip for me but claim they didnt do the dents and the I have to take it up with ups. they were packaged pretty well. each piece individually wrapped then other bubble wrap separating everything. guess i'll call ups and see what they can do. im not in too much of a hurry, my headers and cats are on backorder right now. i wanted to put them all on at the same time and save a trip to the shop.

yea after i saw one of the other guys on here and how they tossed his box atleast 8 ft to his door i would definately bring it up with them...to bad you dont have pictures of the exhaust wrapped up to show them the shop had carefully packed it and it was probably banged around pretty good......that still doesnt explain how that tip got so discolored and there looked to be a wave in the metal on the one canister

yea the canister had two decent sized dents. The company actually replaced the tip. I didn't even finish unwrapping the rest of the piping so they will be able to see how that was carefully wrapped. but its a major inconvenience because i had to miss a day of work today to sit at home and wait for them to come. and i didnt even get a time frame
