Ram Air Popcharger...?

I'm trying to figure out a way to make this a "ram air system" cause i think it has more potential if i were to find a way to make it...the way the car is now with the popcharger, it doens't get as much air as it should be...has anyone done this kind of mod?

not sure if this is what you're looking for: i just took off that power duct piece on the oem airbox.....i guess you can custom fab something for the popcharger........

I know what you mean. I think what we need is a tube/tunnel that goes from the lower valence up into where the popcharger is.

Grupp-M intake has a tube that does what we want. but I think their stuff is real pricey. a tube like that can't be very hard to make. probably can use fibreglass or something. might require some cutting of the bumper lining or somthing...

Well...The Pop Charger sits where the stock air box does,
as well as the Stillen HFAB. I would guess that there is quite
a bit of "ram air" coming in thru the grille and the horizontal
air scoop. Maybe the "gutter intake" is what you are thinking
about?

Re: Ram Air Popcharger...?

"ram air" really needs an airbox that is pressurized........

for this, we need better (more effective seals and an airtight box/intake tract design)..

CATO-

"yes".... to an extent, the oem box utilizes the rammed air principle, BUT the poor intake tract/seal make it less than ideal....
