Re: Best Intake?

Pro-1 short ram or cold air. They're cheap. I have some for sale.

injen is the best. it reaches down to the front bumper to get lots of air

Re: Best Intake?

Haw! Of course everyone is going to say what they bought is the best, or better yet, what they are selling.

See my sig for the Nismo intake installation, with lots of pics, a video, and sound clips before and after. I think the Injen and Nismo are identical in performance, and the Nismo has the added protection of the bypass valve to prevent H-lock.

If I had the chance to do it all over again, I'd be hard-pressed not to just drop in a Z-tube though, and maybe a Pop-charger. I think the gains of any intake mod (if any) are marginal for the G, making improved sound the only perceptible benefit. In that department, I think the Pop/Z-tube combo is about the same as the long-tube design of the Injen/Nismo.

Re: Best Intake?

if you want to keep the oem box, try this:
https://g35driver.com/forums/showfla...sed&sb=5&part=

just compliment it with a k&n panel fileter and z-tube....

04 6mt Sedan / stock airbox mod / z-tube / k&n panel filter / crank pulley / 18" r/h c2s / s-tein springs
