Yeah, the axles are not the same length. When I upgraded mine they are a good couple inches different. And you are right the spare tire well is offset too. So I just cut mine out.

It's just not fair that the 2nd gen sedans are symmetrical. It makes no sense at all for Nissan to chose to offset everything.

There a few good inches between the left muffler and the spare tire well.

BTW. I found a nice little cozy place for the EVAP canister in the trunk so I can keep my spare tire well and my spare tire. but then where do I put the fuel system?

A lot of people are asking me where I got all the pipes, flanges and bolts.

http://www.mandrel-bends.com/ Was the place where I got the 3" mandrel bends, straight pipe, flanges, o2 bungs and plugs and mostly everything. They sell authentic 16 gauge 304 stainless. US made.
http://www.midweststeelsupply.com Also sell authentic stainless US made.
http://www.fastenal.com/web/home.ex is where I bought bolts for the flanges. US made.

These placed sold me mild steel flanges that were advertised and priced as stainless so nobody needs to buy anything from these places. The price difference between mild and stainless is $29 for stainless and $9 for mild. Mild is not good and it rusts.

I ran with my spare coupe 19 in the trunk around the evap box for a little while too. Had to take it out when I did the fuel setup. Now I cut out the spare tire well and put it all back under the car. Going to build a diff cooler under there next weekend. Just in time for a track day.

Best option for fuel would be an in-tank twin pump setup. CJ has one but has never tried it on the sedan. From what I was able to find out, you can remove some baffle material inside the bottom of the tank and it will fit. You may also need a coupe level indicator. This would allow you to have all the fuel stuff still inside the tank and let you keep your spare.

I was looking at the CJ one ever since you mentioned it in your sedans thread. I guess it is the best option to try and keep the spare.

And please do take some track video when you go. The only track video I saw was a short 5sec clip.

If I do that smoke will only come out one side so it sounds bad and one side doesn't work and that is twice as bad.

Bumper still needs to be heated and bent up like you said.

Today I changed the back tires and found out a flange bolt came off causing a leak. Fixed and it sounds a lot better. Also have 2 videos of 2 3rd gear pulls I'll post soon.

Just finished molding the bumper with a heat gun. It came out just right. Used a latex glove and molded it into shape with my right hand thumb.

Also took a pics of the 2nd hanger on the muffler and it's bolted to the frame using a bolt from the EVAP canister bracket. No hangers were welded on the car itself. Everything is hanged using stock locations.

For the non believers that think the exhaust is too big for a naturally aspired car here is a car running longtube headers (meaning there are no test pipes or cats and the headers replace that). The headers have 3" collectors and running a 3.5" single exhaust.

Makes 280 whp with the exhaust alone and it has less back pressure than my setup since I still have stock headers.

And here is the same car running those same long tube headers and an intake making 279 whp. They have less back pressure than my setup. Revup motor like mine. http://my350z.com/forum/na-builds/39...-roadster.html It's running the same style intake I have but it's outside the engine bay.
