I reviewed the test that showed the restriction vs dirt.

But where is the data for filtration? Teh site claims #1 in filtration.

I'd like to see how the heat shield connects to the snorkel (inlet above core) support)... is the intake tube available alone? Or does it require the purchase of the heat shield?...

The tube will not adapt to any other aftermarket products that I'm aware of.

If you would like to see actual lab test results comparing the R2C with JWT, Stillen/K&N or others, let me know.

PFE
Do you have pics of the G35 setup on a G35.

Dust pass through testing

I have attached a few more tests and the protocol. Our mandate was unmatched efficiency and engine protection. That was fairly easy. It required months of engineering the filter media in terms of fibers and voids in order to produce the lowest restriction levels over the entire life of the filter in conjunction with this level of fiiltration. No compromises.

Jim Wolf Technologies

Initial Efficiency 92.2%
Cumulative Efficiency 93.6%

Fujita

Initial Efficiency 52.8%
Cumulative Efficiency 47.5%

R2C Performance PowerFlow

Initial Efficiency 99.1%
Cumulative Efficiency 99.5%

I have many other tests that illustrate dust holding capability, although the capacities are not even close.

Regards,
PFE

You gotta respect how they back their statements up with numbers.

R2C Performance

ShanesG,

It's certainly an extremely expensive product to produce. We didn't buy a piece of round tubing and have it bent. That would have been easy and relatively cheap. It also doesn't work very well. We could have produced filters on par with the existing group but that wasn't the motivation. If Infiniti/Nissan owners truly realized how much work this filter performs each day and remembered that it's single purpose is to protect the engine from micron sized particulate, they would understand that a better choice is vital.

Particles ranging from 0-10 microns routinely sandblast the cylinder walls of your G35. The repercussions of this will manifest themselves over time. Not to mention the impact on motor oil. There are roughly 300,000 microns in a foot. Take a look at the piece of cotton gauze with the glue on it and ask if this can be effective?

The R2C filters last as long as the car. Not one penny is spent on hazardous filter cleaners or oil over the life of the filter. How much is this process? ( if it's actually performed). No down time waiting for the filter to dry.

1 System - Specifically designed!
1 Filter - The best available!
No cleaner or service ( low pressure air cleans the filter)
No filter oiling kits ( The MAF and carbon systems say thanks!)

It's also priced well below $400 by most of our retailers. I'd say it's a pretty good value based on competitive comparisons. Please ask any questions you may have?

Avoid The Use Oiled Cotton Gauze Or Foam Filters

Sincerely,
PFE

Any applications for the '07 and up G35 sedans. Why not consider and OEM style replacement filter for those of us who like the stock intake.

R2C Performance

I'll provide the quality air. You use it to the best of your ability!

Asthma gone! Constipation, that's another story!

Each dyno test will be unique. We don't manipulate these things. Imagine what approx. 60% less air inlet restriction will do for you provided you can effectively consume the new volume. The processor does a pretty good job of making sure things are balanced regardless of how much we provide at part throttle/cruising. Full boogie is up to your configuration. Let the air pump breathe!

What I think you should do is give me one so I can test it out and report on how I like it.

R2C Performance

Thanks Wreaks,

All Nissan/Infiniti 350Z/G35/G37 filters and systems are available. It will take a few weeks to ship.

We are considering a stock air box filter but it's important that we maximize any opportunity the factory air box provides to us. The patented tube design required so much time designing and engineering each transition and facet that it's hard to forsake it and the performance gains by offering a factory box replacement although I do understand there is a demand for this. When it's ready, it will provide as much improvement in restriction and engine protection as the box will allow.

The original filter is much better in terms of engine protection than most of the competitive performance filters available. It's quite restrictive though, especially when light loading occurs.

Sincere Thanks

you deff need few "satisfied" clients out there to spread the good word

so how bout it PFE?

I'm ready to PM you my address.

I'll even send you pictures of my cleanest stock engine bay that you can use on your site for G35 application.

R2C Performance

These systems have logged so much street and track testing time that we're wearing the cars out! I have filters so full of test dirt their tough to lift. We had a dirt track modified run 300 laps without touching the filter. It still outflowed the others. I don't recommend this!

Maybe one of those vehicle wraps with the R2C logo all over the car in exchange?

Send the engine compartment photos. We'd all like to see the cleanest G35 around. I'm picky though!

Sincerely
PFE
