If it is the same case for the Sedan VQ, I will buy that in a heartbeat.
Maybe I am getting old, but even the "HKS rear seciton" drones too much for me.

What do you think? Yes, no, maybe? And of course, anything that goes into production will be a lot cleaner.

NOTE: THESE MUFFLERS ARE WIFE AND G.F. APPROVED.

OMG this would be perfect for me!!! Are you suggesting quiet but with optimum performance? If so, please make it for the sedan... will it still be quite with headers and hfc?

The reason I'm interested is because I draw way too much cop attention! The only reason I am loud is because thats the sacrifice for the performance of the parts I have.... I would love to be quiet with same performance.

Yes, this is the same muffler as used on the MD Sedan exhaust.

Its way quieter than the Stillen dual exhaust. And yes, it has a lot less flow resistance than the Stillen Sedan exhaust too.

I know, I used to have a Stillen Sedan exhaust on my G back in 05.

I'm no flow dynamics expert and certainly not a rocket scientist (so bare with me)... the issue of scavenging becomes a concern... less resistance wont mean sacrifice in scavenging right?

I presume there is a fine line between resistance causing back pressure, and creating scavenging... further, I imagine too much flow would lose scavenging effect?... Stillen seems to do a good job ~ I would be very interested in a comparo! Even if it is only equal in performance, if it is quite that's a big win! Obviously if it has better gains that's a huge win!

Thank you Tony.
I am just waiting for the fellows who just got your VQ dual tips to do a video clip... that would really help set your product apart.

Good work once again

Torque and scavenging is determined in the first ~24" of the catback system so in this case, it is determined by the XYZ or the X pipe of the Stillen system.

In this respect I would expect them to be fairly similar and they are both high flow up to the point of the muffler.

The difference comes in the mufflers of the Stillen and the MD.
I remember clearly the internals of the Stillen muffler. Back in 05 I couldn't take the drone any more so I cut the muffler off and put on some straight through magnaflows.

I became curious as to what was inside the Stillen muffler and sliced it open on the band saw.... I was surprised to find it had an internal single 2.5" sharp edge, raised orifice inlet.
The single 2.5" isn't so bad but its the sharp edge and raised orifice inlet that brings down the flow coefficient a lot.

I can't say exactly what this restriction will do on the dyno because I never specifically dynod it, but it isn't exactly optimal from a fluid dynamic point of view.

I was thinking of adding another resonated magnaflow X pipe at the end of my borla. My other X reduced the drone by a good amount but I can hear the drone coming out of my Borla muffler.

Any way of getting a set of the Non rolled tips, straight cut though, and not slant cut?????

Didn't see a reply to this, just interested in the tips, unless you want to make an exhaust for my SRT-4 to match the exhaust on my G.

Once the test pipes are done it will be easy to slam a HFC on them.

Piece of cake.
