NEW Motordyne Exhaust, Titanium and Dual Setups!
#1007
Can the Helmholz resonator be added somewhere (anywhere) in the system?
Can I purchase the resonator and have it welded in somewhere in my system?
I ask because I'd hate to have to start almost all over again purchasing a new HFC setup and Shockwave )) system just to quiet down the drone.
Edit: I'll add that I had no drone with the XYZ resonated and VQ dual outlet exhaust until I added the Berk HFC's, sounded great until I hit the highway and started cruising! Now its so loud (IE: deeepp low drone!) it hurts to drive it below 2800 rpm!
BTW: Thanks with all your phone help with my MREV2 install and dyno problems I had a few months ago!!

It seems drone can become a problem with the Berk HFC's, or at least with HFC's in general.
As far as hooking a resonator the sedan VQ axleback its hard to say what the results will be without actually trying it. What works in one configuration won't necessarily work on another configuration.
Options to try are:
1 MD HFC's
2 The V2 axleback.
3 or axle experimentation.

Skip to about :45 seconds. Not the best video, but it'll give you an idea of how the exhaust sounds.
As for dynos, I gained 12 whp/13 torque from my gamma tdx setup. According to Tony, the addition of the hemholtz mufflers won't affect it's performance.
