i just got my pop charger and the heat shield is different than that of the online picture, do i worry or is this normal?

Heat shield rarely fully isolate the engine air from the outside air so expect so degradtion at idle especially in summer. The IAT sensor in the MAF tells the truth about whether you are worse, the same , or better off!
