I did it in my car along with a Ztube and Amsoil filter.

The consensus seems to be that a Z-Tube/Filter combo is about as good as it gets without going FI. The stock airbox is pretty efficient already. The POP can suffer from some heatsoak, and it costs about twice as much. The Rev-up airbox doesn't really add anything power-wise, it just enhances the intake sound. If it does, nobody's measured it. I'd suggest getting the upgrades in this order: Z-Tube, Filter, Plenum Spacer, Rev-up airbox.

Check the Marketplace for an airbox. It's unlikely someone's going to PM you about theirs, they'll just put it in the Marketplace.

whoa whoa whoa! I do trust trust the sedan reviews and I to daveb and everyone else who were the "pioneers" of this mod. I was just curious because as I was sifting through the pages it seemed like mostly sedan drivers were doing this upgrade.

I've had this box on for a little over a month now, but I am not sure that I feel any difference in response or sound. However, I am due for an air filter change and that could be why.
I also have the ztube and plenum spacer.

Here's my .02. I had the revup mod on the car and changed to the JWT pop. While I liked the look in the engine bay (filter's blue and so is my car), the sound is a little loud for my taste above 5000 RPM's. But the worst part is I lost a significant amount of thrust on the low end, and throttle response turned sluggish at low RPM's. The car is not nearly as peppy or responsive. Gas mileage remained nearly identical for both.

So, after 1000 miles with the pop, it's coming off this weekend and I'm putting the revup box back on. If you're not concerned with performance, just looks and sound the pop is the way to go. And if you're curious my other mods are a MD 5/16th, z tube, NGK iridium plugs, and an HR y-pipe among other things.

Anyone want to buy a nearly new JWT pop?
