I installed mine today and I really feel something around 3000-5500 RPM

I am really satisfied with this mod!

It's less of a horsepower mod, and more of a responsiveness mod. It REALLY pics up in throttle response a LOT.

Hope to list my thoughts on this next week. I got my X pipe done a week ago so I'm used to it. I was going to hold off replacing my snows for my coupe 19s before I review this v-stack but looks like I won't get the chance. But I'll try to have at least a few days of running my summer wheels/tires to get used to the performance before doing this mod. I getting a Z v-stack so I'll have to swap it into my oem airbox.

Installed my revup box and Z tube the other day. Im pleased with the results and the total cost involved.

HR pipe ~75
Rev up box 65
Ztube 63

So 200 bucks for nice sound and better Throttle response. Seeing an aftermarket intake is more than that with prob less gains Id say this the best bang for you buck. Im gonna hopefully get the spacer next month and that will end the mods for intake and exhaust. Im not sure if ill do the cats or not. Still wanna read more into that before I spend the money.

Specific thoughts on the airbox? Especially in gear and low rpm. More torque down low?

I just received a rare 05 Z airbox from a track edition. Probably why it never sold but it does have the good v-stack!

Oh I see what you were saying now. Nevermind. I think ONLY the Track editions had the Revup, correct? Well, also the 35th anniversary Ultra Yellow

yeah track and enthusiat editions. I had to go digging around that Z guy's profile to make sure.
I was a bit nevous until it came in today and I peeked inside. Since I happen to have two Z airboxes sitting in my garage, I might slice the box in half and see if the front end can be mounted to the G rear section somehow.

Only reason to do this is it "appears" that the Z half (maf side) looks like it mounts the v-stack deeper inside the unit. It probably won't work though (just thinking out loud here).

I'm curious to see your results now, Jeff. Is the Z's vstack taller, even, than the revup?

What's your reasoning behind the extra work associated with molding a ZVstack into a Gbox then? Are they cheaper to acquire?

I think it just feels smoother through the power band but then again Im still new to having the hr pipe. I doubt its something that would show up on paper. Just peice of mind knowing airflow is at its best imo. Low rpms are still weak. The spacer is still the missing link for max gains.
