Added Fast Intentions HFCs....
well I just installed my FI HFCs, and the car sounds so mean.
Fast Intentions makes a great product, bolted up super easy, looked great, NO gas smell, and sounds amazing.
So what do you guys think?
and if you are thinking of getting any type of HFCs, go with FI, you will not regret it.

I'm running test pipes, but I'm curious if I'll notice much of a power loss going to high flow cats. The rasp is a little more than I'd like. I'm running the Megan V2 pipes with resonators, but its still raspy with the FI exhaust. I've also developed an exhaust leak making my O2 sensors unhappy...hoping the test pipes didn't crack or something.

That's a highly debated subject. Would I buy a set of megan coilovers or a bbk? Probably not, although I had a free set of their coils I tried on my MR2 and they rode great. But for a set of test pipes I think its worth the gamble. I'm not going to spend the $ on high flow cats when I don't need the cat in the first place. The Megan V2 pipes are the only ones I've seen with a flex section so I'm sure over time they will be more resistant to cracking. I've read too many posts about people with the crawford cats or other test pipes constantly have cracked welded shut. Crappy welds...?....the welds looks a little sloppy, but I weld myself and they appear to be of decent quality. Nevertheless I'm sure the welds of say an HKS or FI system are cleaner, but come on...its a set of 12" pipes! I can buy 3 sets before I've paid for 1 set of FI cats and the worst that can happen is they fall off.
Anyway...your vid sounds sweet

lol thanks for going off topic.
but valetkyle thanks for the comment. also the reason why I went with HFCs is because before I had test pipes, and it had a stupid amount of rasp (but they were non-resonated TurboXS TPs) and also the gas smell was killing me.
I took them off within a week and sold them. also the difference between HFCs and Test pipes will be minimal, with test pipes make a bit more power.
but I love my HFCs so far, if you have the cash, get them.

Just understand that felony emission tampering [replacing oem cats] is a future risk, though few get caught except in CA or by accident.
HFC have less active material inside [why the flow higher] so fuctional life will be shorter than oem.
It is fraud to to sell an emission tampered vehicle and the buyer can sue you in future to pay to restore to oem...........years later. Submitting or applying for an emission test with an emission tampered vehicle is fraud/or attempted depending.
AS IS doesn't apply to emission tampering

Im in Florida so im good. haha,
but I still have my stock cats for the reason you stated above, that if I ever do sell the car they could sue to have it restored.
but in any case, you wont get caught for replacing them, unless you state (IE California) checks for emissions.
again for you Cali folks, as of January 1st, 2009 High Flow cats are ILLEGAL in the state of California. so be careful if you live out there.
