Need a lil intake HELP

Hey, does anyone know anything about Fujita Short Ram Intake?
Does it increase gas milage?
Would anyone recommend this for a o7 G35 2dr?

Dealership (coconut creek) said:
parts: $210
install: 185
total 395 + plus tax

What yall think?

All Fujita intake systems are made from polished 6061 T6 Aluminum Alloy with CNC machined mass air flow(MAF) sensor fittings to ensure proper air/fuel ratios throughout the power curve.

Thanks in advances

Please search. Intakes are one of most discussed topics on this forum. There are no known intakes for the G that increase performance/gas mileage. Your best bet performance wise is to just get a K&N drop-in filter.

Plus that install fee is way too high. Highest I've seen for labor is around $100/hour. Installing an intake takes no more than 30 minutes if done by a professional.

If you are going to install at coconut creek, don't. They are a rip off. Find a local shop, I know a few around the area.

dont even waste your money on the intake and especially on Labor!! wow that definately expensive. It is very easy to install and only takes 30-45 min max.

if you are as broke as your username indicates then this is not the mod for you. $400+ tax for an intake??? that's a joke. and i agree with an above post who says the labour charge is way to high. the labour should be $0 since intakes are a simple DIY.

if your heart is set on this intake then install yourself, otherwise go with one of the cost-effective (and similar sounding/performing) options for a fraction of your above quote, such as a z-tube/K&N drop in. NO intake will give you significant gains in HP/mileage with the G. our OEM intakes are well designed. people usually mod the intake for sound/aesthetics only...
