Idle is dropping like crazy, car feels like its almost gona give up.
If the spacer was o-ringed you shouldn't need gaskets - in fact a gasket might cause it to leak. I would focus on the plenum spacer. I suspect you need a gasket on top as well.
well there are 3 spots on the throttle body..make sure the hose is connected up top on the back side of it..on the bottom side of the plenum and then the coolant hose that runs into the plenum.....then on the left side of the plenum you have the large hose..make sure thats plug in. After that I would suggest to hand torque the bolts down on the plenum. use your opposite hand or non-dominant hand to tighten down the bolts. That acts ast the correct torque down specs pretty much.
the throttle body spacer you installed should have gasket on the back-side connecting to the plenum and one in between the spacer and the throttle body. you should have 2 gasket in between the spacers....the first gasket is the one that is bolted down when you remove the middle bolts inside the plenum the is between the lower plenum and spacer. then your second gasket is what MD should of supplied which goes in between the spacer and the upper plenum. Make sure the bolts are torqued down...i didnt do the idle reset on my car when I installed it.
the TBS he is using does not require gaskets - each side has an o-ring.
I've had this issue after cleaning the throttle body because the butterfly valve was moved... the accelerator position learning procedure followed by the throttle position learning procedure followed by idle learning procedure should correct the erratic idle. It does take a few attempts to get it to take.

My vote is with the gaskets. The o-rings on a used TB spacer may not be reliable. Mine came with gaskets that I use. No problems with the spacer at all.
He said he's tried the idle relearn a few times already too...

there are 30+ of us running with the same tbs he has. The O-rings are fine. It does not require gaskets.
I just got done installing my plenum. I cleaned my TB while I was in there. Mine idles just fine and I moved the plate more than a few times. But I never unplugged the connector.
If you are still having problems tracking down the leak, the method I've always used is to (carefully) start spraying a bit of starting fluid around the suspect areas (a little at a time) while the car is running. When the engine races, you've found your leak.
