Don't forget to wet down your stock intake and filter before bringing it in too.

i had it happen with my cai and luckily had a mechanic that new how to clear out all cylinders he put in every gears then pused it backwards it cleared cylinders of water and finally it started but died immediatly later found out shorted out mass air flow sensor had it replaced and drained oil and was fine took it to dealer to make sure and all was great

 

good game for the motor.

 

Yes it was very possible that you hydrolocked your car, you should get it checked asap

Ima running a CAI, even cut a hole under the lower drivers grill inside for more air, but I try not to even drive it when it's raining.

That must be one of the most pointless statements I've read on here in a long time. I could see maybe saying... "you're not driving a 4x4 Truck"... but a Honda Civic... or ANY Toyota? Hahahaha. I bet the Supra guys would have a field day with that statement.
