o2 sensor covered on warrenty?

o2 sensor covered on warrenty?

i just got a ses light on today just normal driving. i went to get it checked out and it came up p0133 o2 sensor circuit to slow or something like that. anyways is a 02 sensor covered on warrenty? car only gots 23k miles.

That's the sensor in the header. Yes should be covered under warranty but dealers can sometimes try to pull one on you.....

I had that code, changed the sensor and still had the code (intermittently). I finally got rid of it by cutting off the connector and soldering the O2 sensor in. No trouble since. It was a bad connector that was going nuts when it got wet. If they make you pay for the sensor, make sure they will give you your money back if the code returns!
