I searched for the video on SpeedTV and general Google search and couldn’t find it… but they are talking about it in this Vette forum (post #26, then #28)

I was pissed when I saw his run because ppl that dont know the car will think its a slug (well it is compared to most cars on that show, but not as bad as his pass ~

I bet the electric fan actually impeded the flow through the intake causing hp loss.Originally Posted by escobar929

ok lets assume it is moving more air into the engine.
Wouldn't it lean out really bad? how much can the stock ecu compensate?
Seriously anything to get more air into the engine will help, but you gotta add more fuel too!

Are turbonators legit? Answer that question and you get a cookie [and solve the mystery of this thread!] Originally Posted by ndndiablo88

I never said it was legit Originally Posted by ndndiablo88

All I've ever said was that if you want to *maybe* increase your hp, you can shove a leaf blower into your intake!

what???? That makes no sense...Originally Posted by RPL
No, because it doesn't *create* air. It just pulls more air in, thus the additional air is accounted for.
I don't think anyone ever claimed it defied physics
Of course it doesn't "create" air, but it might help move more air in the engine, more air = more power IF more fuel is also added. Stock ECU's only can adjust over a limited range, that's why FI guys have to do some sort of fuel management

From the looks of it, it might restrict airflow. I can't understand how anyone would fall for these products.Originally Posted by thatguy II
