LOL..ok..on other cars I agree with that but after searching there is a lot of discussion/contreversy on whether or not the VQ engines like this mod or not....

G35 sedan w/ too much money in mods

Looks like you're going to have to decide for yourself on the TB spacer. I always reset my ECU after doing a mod. May help, may not but it makes me feel better.
Throttle Body Spacer, all right....if this is what you're refering to it never hurts to disconnect the negative side of your battery while installing. I've had one on for two years and wouldn't take it off....

I don’t know what you mean by "work"... if you are asking if it will fit - It depends... I know I couldn’t use a Samco silicone z-tube or a carbon fiber z-tube because neither have the flex of the accordion ends like the OEM... for what its worth, I did a sh!tlaod of searching for both of those intakes and bought BOTH! and ended up returning both in order to keep the TBS. Trust me, I would never had gone through that if the TBS doesn’t work.
Now, if you are asking if there are gains by using this with CAI - I don’t see why not... however, all the tests I have seen regarding CAI (long tube) vs short ram favor short ram anyway. And all the people I know using this TBS have short ram intake or sc. I don’t have long tube (and wouldn’t) so I can’t tell you for certain first hand. But I'm sure the peanut gallery with all their "theories" can tell you "for sure"
If you've read all the threads (as full of debate as they are) - you would have found that this tbs happens to work on the VQ as a fluke – it was not designed necessarily to work the way it does… it just happens that this design does work on the VQ... I'm not going into the details because it only ends up with yahoos chiming in and wasting time... but the same design has been used on other cars and does not show the same gains... the radius curve at the neck of the plenum is the difference... so for that reason it should not matter whether your induction tube is long or short.
The only thing to consider is how your intake is mounted... if it is fixed at any point (as in bolted stationary) and the install location cant be altered, then you probably wont be able to use it... you need about an inch of clearance to accommodate the width of the spacer – so you either need 1” of collapsible flex, or the ability to mount the intake with the filter and inch farther away.

You cannot rifle (ie spin air). This thing does not work unless it has the ability to bend the laws of physics. Understand the principles first before buying a mod. You don't have to buy and test a mod to know it doesn't work.

I would agree on other vehicles it does not work which is why I am/was suprised to see there were this many people that said it works. There are too many people that have installed them and did nothing else and picked up power..?
I don't think there but a handful of people on here and my350z that have these installed. Like the UDP, the TBS is viewed as snake oil by most. Church's, dyno out in LA, is the only shop that has shown gains with this mod, but let's not forget that the cars that dyno at the shop kick out crazy numbers and then they go to the strip and kick out terribly average times.
^^^ Terribly average numbers

I run 14.002 at AAA Speedway with a DA of nearly 3000… your ¼ times on the other hand is terribly horrible for running a track so much closer to sea level with much more favorable temps.
I wont even waste my time with how asinine your comments about the tbs are. With a car as slow as yours I don’t suspect “smart” people will pay much attention to your nonsense.
And yes, even though I have you on ignore I can see your post when I’m not logged in…
