i am interested in purchasing a mrev2 plenum but i am having trouble varifying if the plenum is a real or fake. i have PMed hydrazine but i have not heard back from him. can anyone else on here tell if the plenum is a real or fake by just looking at it?
heres some pics of the plenum id like to buy

it looks real
i dont remember how mine looked like but do recall that the MREV2 runners were flatter at the top while the OEM ones were a bit rounder. i could be wrong though

ok i just went through that whole link. i guess the only real way of telling for us(consumers) is to look for smoothened out tops on runner 1 and 2? if the top edges of runner 1 and 2 are sharp then it is a fake?

Are the runners inside machined also? ie.. from the entrance of the mouth down into the runners to the lower intake manifold?Originally Posted by 05G356MT

This is by no means an official evaluation, but it says MR 1 on the plenum. Might be an Mrev 1 not 2. Originally Posted by NAT@FFTec

This quote from the previously mentioned thread makes me think this one is fake as well.

citymunky's clearly does not look like an MREV2 but rather a plain non-revuplower collector. the M-R1 noted on the side is an obvious giveaway.
boooooo for RebelinRI for selling it as an MREV2.

the first pick looks like muy lower plenum when i trid to file it down before i went all custom. That is fake. just look at the machine work on the runners.
the last pic looks closer to the real deal.
