The more opinions on these intakes the better

Also...I'm probably going to get a grounding kit soon. Considering an intake (obviously) and a Z-Tube. Are there any other mods that are cheaper/cost-effective?
Unless you are going for looks, don't bother with the grounding kit. There are no proven gains, it's a plecebo.

That's what I've heard. I get a good amount of delay in manumatic mode mainly when shifting...so this should help.

Yep, ordered it yesterday

I guess intake/Z-tube is really the only other step right now that is a cheap(er) mod.

I'd say get a 5/16 spacer instead or some sways.

Good purchase!

Yeah I was looking at the spacer, but I'm not that confident I could install that myself...and don't know of any places around here that would install them so I'll have to look into it.

I haven't really looked into sways...could somebody give me a summary of them? (or your experience with the Stillen sways)

G35 sedan w/ too much money in mods
I have the Hotchkis sways and really like them. Totally changed the handling dynamics of the car. Well worth the $300 dollars.

Also, the spacer install is really easy. There are some good DIYs on here and on infinitihelp.com as well. If I had to do it all over again the spacer and sways would have been my first 2 mods.

What exactly changed? Was the ride just stiffer? I'm not exactly sure what all they do.

I've looked at that video...I'm not sure How heavy is the upper/lower plenum? Did you install it by yourself?

Yeah I should probably rename the thread haha. I just want to get some mods that are cost effective.

(I have the Sedan) Completely forgot about those threads...
I'm not sure whether to spend the money on an intake or something else now...

I'd go with something else, IMO.
