whats up ppl? I just got my G a couple weeks ago and it sounds good i love the stock sound but want it a bit louder but not ricey or raspy so im gonna try to just change the muffler any suggestions? ive searched around and see that some people are using flowmaster mufflers which sound pretty good but then i checked out altered atomosphere and seen that HKS makes a universal muffler, and then i did more searching and seen that theres a ton of choices. So i just dont know what to get, keep in mind i dont want any drone. any suggestions?

HKS Dual Hi-Powered exhaust is what I've got. It was louder, had a slightly deeper rumble to it, did not sound raspy, and most importantly did not sound like a fart cannon.

Check into Borla as well, I thing theirs sounds decent.

So....you're looking for just a muffler to change the sound of your G35? Check with www.magnaflow.com they may make a replacement muffler for our cars. Since you're just replacing the muffler there's no guarantee how your system will sound, better, worse or the same as OE!

A lot of people use the 80's series Flowmaster muffler made for the Camaro, an alternative is magnaflow. Most people will say you're better off with a full exhaust but if you're just looking for an OEM sound but louder and if you're on a budget, I'd probably say Flowmasters is the way to go. Search around on here and on youtube, a few people have done it and it sounds surprisingly good.

Greddy makes a couple axle-back exhausts (muffler only). There's another on eBay that is made specifically for our cars.

How about just a Borla muffler? Picked up a nice used one for $50. Tips are really nice.

I would say borla muffler or spend a lil more and get some HFCs. I would personally go with HFCs.
