If anyone gets the chance, please add a video clip of the V2s with the OEM exhaust.

Thanks,
MotordyneFTW.

I hear it with Reving and also just driving! But amazing product!!
Its probably related to interaction of the exhaust it is connected to. What exhaust are you running? Stock?

No idea. Never did a baseline before my mods just did the mods then tuned it.

The bid thing the tuner was saying after he finished up with my car is that it makes waaaay more torque then other G35's/Z's that hes dynoed.

I made 226WTQ at 5900ft above sea level, he said thats more then the 06+ revups putting down around 217-219wtq.

Installed my version 2 art pipes today...installation was a breeze however removing the old top bolt on the drivers side cat was tricky. I had to slide the rubber sleeze on the steering rod down and out of the way to get a socket and extension in.

This is on an 06 6mt coupe...I also have the hr-ypipe and now with the art pipes there is a bit of rasp after 2500rpm on part throttle and higher. From the threads I understand the rasp will go away as the test pipes break in.
I also reset my ecu so im assuming over the next few days it will adjust to the art pipes a bit more.
As far as the hardware goes(thanks Tony for providing me with more than enough), everything is extra snug. Tony do you recommend retightening the bolts after a certain amount of km or should it be good?

it does feel a bit torquier, not night and day but there is an improvement(especially 5200rpm+)

-yes there is that hiss but it makes sense that it's just the sound of the exhaust gases flowing through that extra hemholtz tube

WOAH!!!
Ok so after further inspection, the drivers side heat shield was contacting the hemholtz tube in a few areas. I trimmed the stud and removed the heat shield from that side.
Now it really sounds good, just the hissing is present...no more rattle raspiness

Hey everyone thought id contribute.

So i bought my ART v2 pipes and installed them yesterday. I ran into a problem like most others did with the V1, the hitting with the tranny pan. Its only on the passenger side, and it doesnt happen all the time, just occasionally. Also, my installer said it was tighter than **** to install, says he had to seriously push it in to fit, but it fit just fine.

My question is, could this be an issue with my installer doing something wrong, or could there be something else going on? Because i cant drive around like this, risking something breaking.

As soon as this issue, and others, are resolved, i will post my video.

For futher info, i have a Stillen Stage 2 Supercharger with the HKS dual exhaust, on the 5AT.

Well, i purchased from a member a set of V2 ART pipes, and installed them last Thursday on my 5AT. From day one, I was having issues with them. At first there were two issues. The first issues was a loud knock on the driver side when i hit higher RPMs.

http://imageshack.us/clip/my-videos/41/y3z.mp4/

I later found out that that was faulted to the stud above the resonator (the one you are supposed to cut during installation). The shop didnt bother to do it, so shame on them. So if you hear a similar noise on yours, be sure to check that out.

However the second issue was this noise below:

http://imageshack.us/clip/my-videos/402/ie0v.mp4/

This noise was a constant noise. Now, when i talked to my installer, they told me after the install that the passenger side resonator was touching the transmission pan, and would rub when driving. I figured this must be normal, considering the engineering involved for this thing. So i went driving around. The noise became unbearable for me and decided to give Tony a call. I spoke to him about it, and he spoke to my installer. We all came to the understanding that these test pipes were designed from the bottom of a M/T G35, and there for the pan for the transmission was much smaller, and caused to clearance issues. The only thing to attempt and make thius work was to heat the resonator at the weld, and try to bend it out of the way. We tried twice, but it wasnt enough clearance, and i didnt want to ruin the pipes for nothing. So in the end, i will be removing mine.

Here is what it looks like from below.

While i had this product, the sound was definitely amazing. And the difference in power from my old test pipes was definitely noticeable. However, i cannot risk having the pipes or my tranny pan break.
