I just installed my V1 pipes today and no clearance issues for me but the passenger side was tight.

I love these things!

Two things:

1: What MD product would you recommend, the 5/16 spacer Mrev2 combo or the ART pipes?? Possibly something else entirely...?

2:Exactly how bad are the fumes? Are they ever smelt while driving? How about at a stop light with windows up? Also, when you do smell them like with windows down at stoplight, is it overwhelming or just a known presence that is bearable?

Thanks.

1: any MD product is good as far as I'm concerned

2: I don't even smell fumes anymore, maybe I'm just used to them lol

Thumbs up

Really?! The only reason I was hesitant on the ART pipes was because of fumes, my G is my DD. If thats the case I'll get the ART pipes and 5/16 spacer MREV2 combo.

Now I just gotta decide which one first.... Haha.

My g sedan is my DD. Do you have a rev up motor? If not, than no need for mrev2

I have 5/16 iso thermal spacer and full MD exhaust. ART pipes-xy-vq exhaust=badass!

spacer then art then mrev.

you'll notice better gains with the art pipes than spacer itself though.

I was told all 2006 6M/T Coupe G35's with Sport/Premium package have the rev up motor. Plus on my speedometer I have the "REV" indicator that flashes near red line and stays on at red line. I guess I don't know for sure though.. this is my first G. Is there a for sure way to tell?

Hahaha I probably sound SO dumb. Thanks though

Great! So I've heard that a spacer alone on a rev up engine does hardly anything, so shouldn't I get the MREV2 with the 5/16 spacer? Why are you guys suggesting to buy the MREV2 later down the road?
