That's one of the things that has swayed me... I know not everyone has had problems, but I've seen it happen enough times that I was a bit concerned...

Does the new version have any drawbacks (in terms of performance, sound or otherwise)?
Another 3/8" clearance was added and there are no drawbacks of any kind.

Sweet. Let us know when that batch is ready.

So did I read this right, the ART pipes are 2.25" ID in and out?

Look what arrived in the mail:

So a buddy of mines helps to install them and guess what? They STILL don't freakin' fit! ARGH! The fitment is actually worse than the v1's because it hits in 2 spots instead of just one.

I bought these because the fitment issues were supposedly fixed. Then I see people posting on here saying they're still having trouble... Well it was too late then, as I had already sent the money out for the v2's.

Is there any way I can somehow just get a working set? All I want is them to fit properly. Right now it's rubbing and droning inside the cabin which is driving me nuts. I had to put the v1's back on... And here's what these fit like:

I don't know what the problem is....... but I still have my v1s and they fit fine. I hope all the issues are resolved, these ART pipes are worth the headache!

ryanm8, Sorry about that. Yours are welded differently to minimize the weld variation but even then there is a degree of car to car variability that outside the tolerance range of the pipe envelope. I'll just have to send you the ones made in a new jig designed with additional clearance.
I'll make a post when they are ready.

That would be awesome. I just want them to fit properly. What should I do with the ones I have now? Should I just try to return them?

I'll send you the new ones with a return label. You can just put the old ones in the same box you received the new ones in and its good to go.
