Little bit of an update:

I was driving last night, and went over a slight pot hole. When i came out of it, the noise stopped. Now, i havent looked under the car to see what the cause is, but i will be doing so either today or tomorrow. Thank god i can finally enjoy the sound of my exhaust for a while lol

Venom, you can bend/cut the lip of the tranny pan to get more clearance i had the same problem on my coupe with the V1

after a lil help from Tony and doing that i got enough clearance no problems now

Im surprised he didnt mention that when i talked to him. Interesting. I am going to see later why the noise stopped, and if the lip bent by itself, then so be it. I first have to figure out if i can put a stop on the order for hte Fast Intentions test pipes i ordered, if not i wont have these anymore.

Well, i did talk to you on Friday about it, and we tried to bend it at the weld. But i didnt want to risk the integrity of the pipes. I would be better off just getting it to a member who can use it with no consequence. I already ordered my other pipes. They sound great, and its a shame to get out of them, but i dont wanna risk breaking them.

I just finished a new AT prototype today. I'll send you a set once they are out of production.

I just installed some V1's onto my 5AT sedan. No fitment issues for me. Between transmission pan I have almost 1/2" on either side. I have installed these on 3 other cars with 5AT(1 coupe, 2 sedans) as well and no issues with rubbing on the trans with any of them.

He's right I'm one of those sedans! I have plenty of clearance on both sides

So....... how those working out for you? Any change in sound? Performance?

so this addresses the clearance issues Tony?

That's one of the things that has swayed me... I know not everyone has had problems, but I've seen it happen enough times that I was a bit concerned...

Does the new version have any drawbacks (in terms of performance, sound or otherwise)?
