installed mine last weekend, its a 5AT we had issues with clearance on the passengers side it is really close to the tranny took it back off and hammered on the flange edge where the issue was, the vibration sounds got a lil better but still there

i assumed that the test fits were on 6mt because its slimmer and would have plenty of room

^ I was like the first one to install ART pipes on a 5AT and didn't have any problems with the tranny. There's not that much room, but enough to not hit.

you have the same year car so im wondering whats going on, no after market headers and we took off the exhaust piece that bolts to the pipe and it still is really close

I'll take pics of mine when I get home. Looks like to me I could be wrong is that passenger resonator is welded in the wrong spot (not centered) I don't remember mine being that close when I installed mine.

Make sure the heat shield isn't hitting it. When I installed mine the heat shield was hitting it on the passenger side so I took the heat shield off.... No problem now

man I have a 6MT and I have a really bad buzzing/rasp/vibrating type noise in every gear at about 3k rpm... I tried everything including trimming the bolts, taking off the shield, even hammered in the underbody where my exhaust was close enough to touch the car and that annoying sound doesn't go away...

I have the stillen exhaust and I loved it before I got the ART test pipes... now I feel like I drive a civic...

I had the same problem with mine. Called up tony and he suggested a resonator to help remove the rasp, I have the xyz so it was easy to install. I don't know about the stillen exhaust but if you add a resonator close to the art pipes it could remove most if not all your rasp. I HATE RASP it sounded really bad. Now I love my exhaust again!

Just installed ART pipes and all I can say is wow
I had exoticspeed R1-T PWR exhaust and Berk hfc... I used to get some rasp at high RPMs (and even though it just sounded like an BMW M3 type of rasp and not honda rasp it still was not really wanted)
but now with the art pipes, even when cold, rasp is non existent and that was good enough for me to buy this product.
Now on top of that I took it out for a drive and as soon as I started doing some acceleration all I could do was smile. I definitely felt the new power more then any other mod I have done on my car. And the sound made my exhaust growl more on top of things.

Thanks Tony you made me love my car even more
