Question MD spacer gaskets

so i just picked up this MD 5/16" isothermal spacer from this kid today. my Q is that the gasket on one side has a couple spots missing and i obviously need to replace it. can i just scrape that off and use an oem gasket? and he didnt have any of the hardware since he had a V+ plenum on it so i have to order the bolt kit from someone. anyone got a 5/16" spacer bolt kit FS? as far as the gaskets i got an oem one i can use........just wasnt sure what to do exactly since these are kinda glued on the spacer.

You might have to order the bolt kit from Motordyne, they do sell it separately. Just use your OEM gasket on the side with the missing spots and you should be good. Don't try to scrape the MD off, it'll lead to problems you don't want to deal with.

its a paper gasket and its literally missing a section out of it. no way it will seal. ill just take it off carefully and use a stock gasket on that side.....maybe with a thin layer of hondabond. any vendors care to chime in and shoot me a price??

Call MD directly. You need to replace the gasket like you're saying. You might consider that the MD gasket (ISO Thermal) is actaully better than the OEM. You definately need the spacers for the center bolts or you will risk cracking the upper plenum. MD's service is great and these parts are not expensive.

OP, yes you can use your OEM gasket on the side that is missing (earlier versions used OEM on both sides, it will not cause problems) - just carefully remove the remaining portion of the pre-applied gasket being carful not the mar or deform the mating surface. Sealant is not necessary.

As for missing hardware; contact Tony at Motordyne - he is very accommodating and always helpful.
