If you have a REVUP, you will most likely (although some have not) get a code.

The extenders on the Megans (at least they have them unlike the $300+ dollar name brand unresonated test pipes) are not enough to fool a REVUP's O2's.

wierd. i didnt have an L shaped on my 04 5at, no lights whatsoever.

the L-shape they are talking about is an additional part you add onto the bung to get rid of the cel

While it might not be as effective as the L Shaped that you linked, it is almost identical to that on the Berk Technology which claims a 95% effective rate at fixing the CEL.

For most ppl, I think its worth it to install the Megan Racing Resontated Test Pipes first and see if the CEL appears before purchasing the L Shape extensions.
i will be installing them test pipes with out the cel killer today... i have the same exact test pipes with extended bungs... brb

i just got back from the exhaust shop... I drove around for about 15 miles NO cel...yet I am sure by 50 miles something should cel should pop up... only problem i ran into was the left gasket was bad...now i have a bad leak sounds like your typical civic or integ hitting that v-tec LOL!!!

so i got the gaskets replaced... i drove to LA and back down to san diego... and NO cel light... current set up... stock exhaust with new version test pipes... sound is just what i wanted... stock purr but louder...

hows the gasoline smell in the cabin? and any drone?

gasoline smell in the cabin- NONE... drone- NONE... when crusing at 65 (6th gear) none... but i do warn you... you will hear a noticeable louder purr from the oem system

I ordered megan test pipes from hopup racing and are in the mail now. does anyone know if these are going to come with non foulers?

when in the high RPM's are the pipes suppose to make like a clacking noise? mine do and its quite annoying. besides that they sound great.

Hey Jairen,

Do you know any shops or anyone local in socal who could do this for me? I got the light on my Revup after adding my Megans a couple months ago
