^^damn thats some dough u dropped for that intake less us kno how it goes. im curious if having a cone filter enclosed in the airbox still makes the intakes growl. cus in essense that tekeda is indentical to the stock setup minus the cone filter.

My 2 cents...I put the Ingen cold air in and left it in the short version, big mistake, G teck pro, said 0 to 60 6.5 sec with my little wife in the car and the air on, now next try, me no air short set-up wow, 6.7! and 6.8 ! now that sucks, not cold air though..lol It was hot but still it should have been better than this. Now next time I will have the long version in, as it is now, scares the guys at work, why won't anyone ride with me??? I will be installing the new lower base plenum and 5/16 spacer, water cut off to the TB and Berk low restriction cats, and.....a dyno tune if my Buddy ever gets me the appointment to go there! My feelings, get a pop charger, K&N Z tube, AND DO NOT TOUCH THE TB BODY!!! You clean it and you screw yourself in the butt!!!

"Me with no air", that means the air conditioning was off. Not turned on as before.

My G 5AT with a Z-tube only did 14.3s@98mph. A 14.3 in the 1/4 mile equates to a ~5.8 0-60 Seems like my car was getting plenty of "cold air" with the stock setup.

stock G

I never did the 1/4 mile times, wish I did, around here you have to watch it, you go too fast and you go to jail!
I did do some testing with my Olds, that would have gotten me put away for a long time! that had 0 to 60 in 4.8! and lousy rear gears also! I think like some guys have listed, the stock and close to, works very well, I will be interested in seeing what we come up with my mods, I know when I started it after the 5/16 spacer, it sounds great, but that means nothing, it's what it equates to in 0 to 60 times or 1/4 mi runs. We have found a place to test a 1/4 without too much attention from the unwanted law.

What a pain! Good thing I have a torch, you would never get the old cats out without one! If you do this yourself, BE CAREFUL! on the pass side is the fuel line, you burn through that, kiss your car good bye! Not to mention yourself too.
Went out today and took a little ride, sounds good not much louder, very little. It flies though! Just ask the guy that thought he was fast behind me, oh about 3 blocks behind. https://g35driver.com/forums/images/smilies/th_wave.gif
