hmmm if u do that air cant get in the filter? thats why they had the filter there for more air?

It still gets PLENTY of air from the sides, back and below, that's by no means a airtight seal.
It just keeps water off.

Dudes, sorry for not getting back. Just had a kid when I was working on this back February. I checked with the carbon peeps and they said that will let me know when its ready. I do have a Metal one done Ill take some pics and post them up
