Berk HFC + ARK DTS Exhaust
Berk HFC + ARK DTS Exhaust
I know this subject has been beaten to death and most of the information people need regarding HFC's can be found on this site, however I still need some advice.
First, if anyone has this set-up please let me know how you got rid of hiss and the rasp.
I understand that this is usually inevitable depending on your exhaust. A true dual setup should take care of alot of the annoying side effect of the install. If that does not help I understand an X pipe should take care of the rest.
My issue is that my set -up is similar to the OEM set-up

I cant utilze the x-pipe and at this point am pretty annoyed from the sound.. Car drives awesome but sound like sheet between the normal range of rasp ( 3000rpms).
Anyone have any suggestion so that I dont have to spend another G on exhaust.

Looks like it has a standard size y-pipe? Why not switch to the Motordyne XYZ Y-pipe with resonator?
A much cheaper alternative is to simply replace that resonator in the mid-pipe with a more effective resonator or even another muffler in it's place. Any shop could do that.
