Topspeed Headers - Some Feedback (+ / -)

For those G owners that have installed the Topspeed Headers, please give me some feedback and comments on the mod with headers and catback only(positive or negative). Performance difference? Sound difference? I'm considering going with them in the future to fit into the budget. Are they worth the investment? Thanks for your input.

i recently installed these headers, Crawford Cats, and a Fujitsubo Y-Pipe. I will be adding the Fujitsubo Legalis-R exhaust soon as well. prior to this round of mods, i had only a Z-tube and JWT Popcharger.

after installing these 3 items together, i really feel a difference in "seat of the pants" acceleration. the car really takes off now, especially in the 40mph-80mph type sprints.

at $230, these headers are a steal. unfortunately, the installation on my car cost me almost $600 in labor and took over 7 hours.

I've had them installed since the week before Christmas and they are awesome. Before these I had an INJEN CAI, Kinetix Plenum, Kinetix High flow cats, Stillen Dual exhaust, UR Pullies, and JWT light weight flywheel. Adding the Top Speed headers to all this and I felt even more butt dyno power. I haven't had a dyno done since the last Stillen day. At that time I had 254.5 WHP, and since then I put on the plenum, headers and high flow cats. So I'll have to dyno again soon to see what has really happened. And the sound is just great. I do get a little raspy sound between 3K and 3.5K, but then it's cool again.

Later,
Ray

I'm thinking of getting their Pro-1 exhaust. I already have the helix cats but they're not on. I wonder what kind of gains I can expect when I get them both on. The only other mod I have is the jwt pop charger and z tube.

I feel a difference on the butt dyno. I had a little rasp before the headers from the test pipes, but after the headers it was unbearable. The day after install I went to the local muffler shop and added a second resonator to the b pipe. It sounds nice now. Just a little rasp between 3k-4k rpm's. Definately worth the $300. I missed the Group buy.
