TDX2 Exhaust Tips
Well I just got my tdx2 installed a few hours ago and it sounds AMAZING!
no drone in the cabin, quiet at idle, super sexy tone at full throttle.
BUT theres just one problem... I cant seem to get the rear mufflers aligned so that I have enough room to put the tips on
I think it has something to do with the midpipes...
I'm going to get back under the car tomorrow morning and undo/redo some of the clamps to see if that solves my problem. Did anyone else have this issue when installing their TDX2?
Thanks

Okay I got it all lined up and ready to go, but the tips still aren't quite right. How do I get them to sit in the middle of the exhaust cutouts on the bumper?
^ Have the same problem with mine. one side will not sit even in the middle of the exhaust cutout. I just gave up after readjusting everytime I got under the car to do other work.
I just installed mine and having the same issue, I re adjust twice and tried flipping the muffler without the logo facing down. haha I too gave up.

try starting with everything mostly centered. then tighten it. after doing that, focus on your midpipe and muffler section one side at a time. You should be able to rotate them in certain ways so that the tips line up. Once they are in place, tighten it while someone else holds it in place.
Adjusting side at at a time worked. Thanks for the help. I had to leave MD logo face up or I couldn't get the mid pipes to sit right to make the muffler centered. I finally got it just the way I want it. Clamping and adjusting is a biatch but once u get it on and go woot, its all worth it. Awesome exhaust!
