I was using wix paper air filter in the Rev up airbox. Next I switched back to the stillen intake and kept the oem Z-tube. This combo felt the best to me. The stillen intake sounds along with Z-tube, both amplify to a deep mean roar which I love and it also kept the excellent throttle response and is Rev happy. This setup is a keeper for me.

If anyone wants a brand new revup airbox, pm me lol or check out classifieds later when I post it
Pm sent

That probably is the best option to go and I might eventually get a stillen down the road.
I've read the REVup and stillen are probably the best two intake mods

If you have the Stillen, there's no need to waste your time on a rev up box.

The whole REVup ztube and aem filter almost cost me what a stillen intake kit cost

I ran both for craps and giggles. But only because I bought a broken revup airbox from a 350z for dirt cheap. Then swapped just the velocity stacks. That's the only difference in between them anyway.

It was okay. I preferred the Stillen though. If happened to find one really cheap, go ahead and get the G revup box. But if you're spending more than $40 just buy an used Stillen

Thanks. Other than sound. Is the stillen box that much more for performance? I mean the gains are minimal anyways right?

No intake is going to be much for performance. If performance is what you really want, invest in a intake manifold spacer. Much better $ for the hp buck. I found a deal on a Crawford plenum that really worked for me though. But spacers are much more comment to get.

Scrutinizing over what intake is better for the miniscule performance is an exercise in futility. For intakes, look out for an used cheap Z tube (sound) and an used Stillen intake. Or a revup air box. Whatever comes by for sale sooner (or cheaper). Same for the spacer. I was looking for either the Motordyne spacer or the Crawford plenum. Found the plenum first so I got that.

Yeah I am actually picking up a 5/16 spacer tomorrow night locally from a guy here. Next will be some hfc's.

Stillen Z tube

Hey guys, I have a 2007 G35S and have been trying to find an air intake for my car. I want one that gives my G ride a better sound and better response. I checked out the Stillen Z tube but it seems it doesnt fit on my car. Any suggestions????
