Which plenum spacer to buy?

Sorry if this is a commonly posted thread but I'm having trouble finding good info on them. My car is a 05 G35 Coupe 6at.

Which plenum spacers are the most commonly used, and the best ones to consider purchasing? When I look it up I get Blox Racing rubber spacer, Motordyne for 300$, or entire intakes.

Which spacers should I be looking at? I'm doing y pipe, exhaust, z tube, the usual mods and a tune.

Basically, Motordyne is the most popular. Its aluminum, which is a big plus for me. For midrange improvement go with the 5/16. For top end go with the 1/2.

If u live in a cold/freezing climate then get the whole iso-thermal kit. If in a warm climate, just get the basic plenum spacer.

Don't be afraid to get a used Motordyne, it's not a wearable component so if you can find a good price on a used one get it.

I can afford whatever but as with any mod its really a question of is it worth it. Is 10bhp worth 300$ ? Heeel naw. I guess I'm spoiled coming from camaro land with my lt1 and ls1 responding crazy to mods. Long tube headers = 30rwhp lol. It's a little different with the g35.

Still love this car as a daily driver though. Full exhaust cai plenum spacer and some wheels and I'm pretty good to go. If I wanna go fast I'll either go forced induction or get a v8.

Z1 is 188.00 plus shipping if not in the area. I think md is like 270-300 last time I saw it. You find a md for cheaper then 188 let me know I'll buy it right now and switch mine. Lol

G35 Sedan Leather Base, Z1 Plenum Spacer, Z Tube (Currently sold to a friend)
I installed the Z1 a while back. I bought it while they had them on sale for $160 or so if I recall. From what I read I would be comfortable installing the MD as well.

This is a good time to get in there and remove the entire intake for cleaning. Then while that is out might as well change the spark plugs and fix the leaky valve covers since the intake is out of the way.

Very true my man, I did the valve covers on mine last year and that was a pain in the *** takes about 4.5 to 5 hours to completely do them.
