Blox 5/16" Plenum Spacers for $39?? Non rev up

So I'm searching around for mods like I always am, and I see a site selling Blox plenum spacers (5/16 size only) for only 39$ and 5 for shipping. They're usually the lowest priced option at 100$.

For this price I'm thinking I'm going to try one out and use a liberal amount of hi temp rtv all around to maybe help with the heat a bit. They dont have the dyno proof like other brands do unfortunately but I dont see how a piece of material that nets gains by simply adding volume can be better than another one of a different brand.

now if we are talking about heat , that's a valid argument. Yes this would be inferior to motordyne.

At 45$ I'm about to order one of these unless I'm missing something here. This looks like the exact spacer everyone paid 100$+ for.

The problem with the Blox one is it's made from a plastic that develops cracks over time. I've never used one personally but I suspect that the people who had the WORST cracking was simply due to not using a torque wrench to properly tighten it, instead just making it "hand tight".

Yep it's new not used. I'm surprised at the price as well, and yeah the website doesnt sell anything really car related so it's pretty random but hey, if it works it works.

I'll order one tonight and let you guys know if it goes through.

I think if you use a liberal amount of copper rtv on the mating surfaces as an additional gasket / heat shield and torque it properly on install, and after a few heat cycles it should be perfectly fine. I'll find out though. At least for 45$ wont feel terrible if it cracks or something instead of 110.
