New y-pipe............
I've had my new y-pipe on for several weeks now
along with the new cat-back system. I searched
and talked to several people but ended up with a
Top Speed y-pipe. It's all 2 1/2" into a 3" collector,
totally polished and looks like a showcar piece.
Like everyone in the know says, "it bolts on"!!!!!
Delivery was quick and the price was good, located
on this site under exhaust........LOL.

If it's true that the stock exhaust is 2.5 inches that = 63.5MM.
High Flow cats are 2.25 (57MM).
My headers are (55MM).
So, if your keeping your stock exhaust, you might want to get a custom built Y Pipe, something with like 58mm inlets, and a 63MM outlet.
If your going to get a aftermarket exhaust, like a Fujitsubo (76MM), then make sure you get a Y Pipe with outlets equal to or smaller then 76MM.
As for me, i already have headers and cats in the garage waiting to be installed. But i wont install them until i have aftermarket y pipe and exhaust.
My setup will be like this:
The headers are 55mm, connected to high flow cats that are 57mm on both ends, connected to what will be the Tanabe Y Pipe with 60MM inlets, and a 70MM outlet, and a Fujitsubo exhaust with a 76mm diameter.
So thats, 55mm to 57MM, to 60MM, to 70MM, to 76MM.

In fact, i thought i read the stock mid pipe was 2.5 diameter, but with a 2.75 inch flange.
The HKS Y Pipe goes from 2.36 Inch inlets, to a 2.55 inch Outlet. That would mate well with Hi Flow Cats (2.25 inches) and the stock exhaust (2.5 inches).
HKS Y Pipe is kinda pricey tho at $470.
HKS Y Pipe (2.36 inlets to 2.55 outlet) ($470)

Stock Y Pipe. (Dont know diameter)

Quick Question megan y pipe
Does the megan y pipe fits the fujitsubo exhaust? Any problem with this setup. I just feel that fuji y pipe is way too expensive, i know that the quality is good but i dont think is worth the price. Any problem with the megan y pipe?? Help thanks

Wouldn't there be a lot of pressure on the gasket?

I have a NEW, never-installed, NISMO Y-pipe with new Dr. Gas reducer cone (for use with the Y-pipe with the stock rear-section exhaust) for $400 SHIPPED if interested. These are two individual pieces, neither of which has ever been used.
