Question Does the GReddy evo 2 sound the same as stock?

I've heard that the evo 2 is similar to the stock exhaust in terms of sound, some even say it's quieter than stock. It's hard to compare both listening to clips online, so for those with the evo 2, how does the sound compare to the OEM exhaust?

Don't think the EVO is that quiet. The Borla is pretty quiet. But I have not heard it in person. I have heard the Borla in person it seems just barely louder than stock.

Are you guys talking about when the cars are idling or when they are at WOT? The EVO2 sounding pretty freakin' loud at WOT. The Borla sounded definitely louder than stock.......at WOT.

At idle, they are probably not a whole lot louder than stock.

I can't give you an honest answer to that question. I've heard both exhaust systems, but only on the video downloads.

I just installed the evo 2 a week ago. When you first put it on it was almost the same as stock. But over several days of driving around it became progressively louder. Overall its slightly louder than stock with a deeper tone. At freeway cruisin speeds theres a slight drone to the exhaust but not bad at all.

Thumbs up 2 weeks

I have had my EVO2 on for over a week now and LOVE it! I have taken a 500 mile roundtrip drive and driven it everyday in computing. At idle it isn't much different than stock but once you get going it really makes me smile
On the interstate it has a low drone but it's not annoying at all.

Btw, make sure you have a square bracket with your before install or your shop will have to fab one. You got a great deal!!
