Crawford Cats/Y Pipe Combo

I have searched the posts and this seems to be a good combo. I already have the plenum spacer, z tube/K&N.

I am trying to determine what else I need to ensure the Y pipe connects to the stock exhaust properly. From what I have seen the aftermarket Y Pipes have a 76mm outlet while the stock is 65mm - what have others done to make sure this fits right? Is there a gasket to buy?

I still haven't decided if the JIC & Fujitsubo are worth the extra $$ over Gruppe or Unlimited.

If you plan to eventually get an after-market exhaust then I'd suggest looking into a reducer for matching these larger y-pipes to your stock mid-pipe (do a search for it in this forum).

If you intend to keep stock exhaust then the Tanabe or Kinetix Y-pipes might be the way to go because they are 70mm and will provide better match to the stock exhaust...

...go for it!

Thanks - I plan on keeping the stock exhaust for awhile. It seems as though the most restrictive parts are the cats and Y pipe so I am not going to do the exhaust. I will check out those 2 if they match up to the stock better.

If you go with the aftermarket exhaust what is your concerns for getting Fugitsubo or JIC? I am just interested in why you chose those 2. I personally want the Fujitsubo exhaust, I love the look and sound.

I was referring to Fujitsubo or JIC for the Y pipe not exhaust. They are much higher $$ than gruppe or unlimited. I am keeping the stock exhaust and just swapping the cats and y pipe.

btw, I have read nothing but good things about the Fujitsubo exhaust.
