I'm getting a set of Strup headers soon. I'll post a review as soon as I get them installed and how they perform on the roadcourse.

I'll keep an eye out for your order 636Racer. Thank you. We've got many happy customers who have nothing but great things to say about the Strup headers. Our sale in the Vendor Classifieds is still in effect until the end of the month.

Thanks, but I'm getting them from Charlie. Charlie is sponsoring me in my efforts with roadracing.

i believe the DC Sports "ceramic" are cheaper b/c they are ceramic coated mild steel, vs. the stainless for the more expensive ones. i wouldn't get the mild steel... these parts are subject to ridiculously high temperatures and inferior metals can crack. it's also worth noting that if you have certain aftermarket exhausts, more weight rests on the headers and cats than with the stock setup further increasing the chance of cracking them. (one person i know cracked his authentic Nismo headers)

on my car i have TopSpeed Pro1 headers... they're a direct copy of the DC sports design (which is the same as the Nismo design... since AEM makes the Nismo CAI i bet they make the Nismo headers too). i paid like $230 shipped and when i opened the box i couldn't get over how gorgeous these polished stainless parts were. very high quality for a "replica" product.

personally, if i had to choose a header again... i wouldn't skimp on the price. i would hands down choose Crawfords. i may have only paid $230 for my headers, but installation came to roughly $600 and took close to 7 hours. that's not something i'm going to want to do again, and i'm running out of N/A mods to do, so i shoulda went for the best headers originally.

I agree on s/s increasing the underhood temperatures up immencely. That's why I will be using insullation wraps.

i concur... my underhood temps did go up with the installation of my stainless steel headers.... although not enough to really cause me concern. in hindsight i would have JetHot coated my headers first to insulate them better.
