ztube and popcharger or CAI
ahh my head is starting to hurt deciding between the two...any inputs?
also, can you still have the ztube if you have a cool air intake?

Decide whatever you want between the Stillen, JWT Pop Charger or using the stock box with the k&n air filter.
Do not use a CAI. I won't gain a thing and you may actually end up killing your low end power.

Injen does give you gains but only on top end. Low end with cai is always lost.
pop charger does not give you as much gain as the cai. but it does make it sound nice.

I've had them both and currently running Injen CAI w/t Bypass installed.
IMHO... Go wit the CAI

Also for the non CAI systems like (popcharger/ztube) do they not have as much gains but don't lose any low end power in the process?

Hey Guys, I am struggling through this prob too..
Is it hard to keep up with the maintenance of the CAI?
And i heard that with the popcharger and z tube together u can get 10 to 12 RWHP.
Please tell me which one is better... and why?

Our stock intakes are very well designed. The ztube is only for sound and the pop charger will not gain you 10RWHP. You will gain about 2-3. No Intake will gain 10-12 RWHP. A popcharger will be easier to maintain since its right in the engine bay. Any CAI will be harder to maintain, since you will have to basically get into ur wheel well everytime you want to clean it. Pick what you think is best for you. Me personally, id go with an Injen CAI, which has been proven atleast 2-3 rwhp in the top rpm range. It also sounds alot nicer than the popcharger.
the most famous combo around for G and Z is
1) JWT popcharger
2) Stillen popcharger
both can be used with the Z tube..
with regards to gain..hmm there are no comparsion between
baseline dyno and dyno with the popcharger on..
but you will hear alot of different feedback floating around here
personally, i won't even go the CAI route..
maybe because i had the z-tube and stillen popcharger
and i liked the way it was in terms of both maintanence
and performance
hope this helps
