Don't know why anyone would want to polish that muffler. It's so hidden you would have to be on a snow sled to see it, and I don't see many of them out during the summer months. :-)

When I did my custom system, I sprayed the muffler with flat black high temperature paint. I can't understand why you would want to draw attention to the underside of the car. As Tfasano says, you don't notice the muffler with black on it.

on the center console being hotter.i was thinking about wrapping the exhaust with the exhaust heat cloth where the center of the car.what do you guys think.i waiting for mine to come in.

 

That's a good idea bro. I've used that wrap b4 on headers and it works slick. It wouldn't be cheap, but it would do the job.
The stuff I used is called "Thermo-Tec Exhaust Insulating Wrap". They also make an aluminized heat barrier.
