HKS. Whats the big deal. All HKS Owners read?

Ok so what are your reasons for saying its thes best? Looks..performance...sound? I know it looks great and it has proven about 10-15hp gains...but the sound clips I have heard have been gurgly. It sounds great on when you are on the gas...but it seems when you let go of the gas it gurgles allot? Could it be the sound clips I have heard? Where can I find the best representation of the sound of this exhaust? What are your reasons you feel its the best out there?

As far as sound goes opinions are like azzholes. This exhaust may sound good to one person and nasty to the other. You really have to hear these exhausts in person to make any kind of determination.

I don't know why people were humping that exhaust to death for ages and then paying jacked up prices for it. I've heard many sound clips and I agree, they do sound like ***.

I think, for $$$ and power gains, you'd be bettter off just doing headers+test pipes/high flow cats. that way you've picked up more power and retain the stock note, albiet louder and deeper (i like the stock note myself)

HKS seems to have a hold on the import scene. The SC they have out is junk and people still talk it up. They are coming out with a TT kit and people are trippin. Why I dunno. Can it get any better then whats out?

i think ppl talk it up because it's expensive and that makes it more exclusive and the object of people's desire.

Uh ok, It's only one of the more higher quality exhausts out there that actually puts out power.

You get what you pay for.

People talk it up because it's a bad *** exhaust plain and simple.

I just put a HKS muffler on my sedan. Butt dyno says: not bad! Sound is great!

Heres the wierd part. I could tell difference in sound right away, my wife (her car) hasn't said a word yet!

I think it's just close enough to the original sound, that you really don't notice that much. But it's just a little deeper and louder.

I can't say it's the best exhaust out there, because I personally haven't heard them all. I can say it's the best exhaust for me I just got mine delivered today, and installed a couple of hours ago. All I can say is, WOW This thing is awesome looking, sound is perfect (to me), and the butt dyno definitely shows improvement. One thing that I'm dissapointed with is the low end. I feel I lost some of that low end kick that I had before, but then again, maybe I need to reset the ECU or wait till it settles in But where I lost low end, I feel a great increase in top end! So it evens out, but I really like low end power.

It's all a matter of what you want in an exhaust. In this order, I was looking for looks, sound, then performance, and it scored VERY well in all categories. I wasn't too concerned with performance output, because you can't get much from an exhaust anyways. Save the performance for force induction.

I installed mine in a autohobby shop and the on-site mechanics were very impressed with the quality of the welding and the overall look of it. They said they see so many people come and go installing their exhaust, but this is one of the best looking exhaust they've seen.

Pricey. Yes.
Worth it. Ya DAAAAAAAAM RIGHT!!!

Ya... Your going to lose low end because there's hardly any back pressure....
